Description

This exercise focuses on revealing character through the use of a single object. Two players collaborate to demonstrate who they are using an agreed-upon item.
Players should interact with the object to convey their characters' traits and relationships, emphasizing actions rather than dialogue.

  • Encourage players to focus on physical actions.
  • Remind them to show rather than tell.
  • Emphasize the importance of reacting to each other's actions.

Points of Observation

  • Watch for clarity in character portrayal.
  • Observe how effectively they use the object.
  • Note if they show rather than tell in their interactions.

Evaluation

  • Did they show us or tell us about their characters?
  • How well did they use the object to enhance the scene?
  • Did they maintain a dynamic interaction?
