Setup Requirements
A space for two players to engage in discussion without distractions.
Point of Concentration
Each player avoids picking up and repeating the other's subject matter.
Side Coaching
Encourage players to listen actively while maintaining their perspective.
Remind players to focus on their own arguments.
Challenge players to creatively persuade the other without conformity.
Points of Observation
Watch for how well each player establishes their argument.
Note how often players attempt to sway each other.
Observe the creativity in their responses without overlap.
Evaluation
What strategies were effective in maintaining your viewpoint?
How did you feel about your ability to influence the other player?
What did you learn about argumentation through this exercise?
Examples
Example lines might include:
