Creating a Stage Picture

Exercise Beginner 15 min 3–10

Description

In this exercise, players collaborate to create a visually striking tableau. They agree on the elements of Where, Who, and What, deciding on their characters and setting.
When the curtain opens, players pose as if in a picture, sitting quietly until inspiration strikes one of them. They then move to express their character or action within the scene.
This exercise encourages intuitive movement and creativity while maintaining the integrity of the original tableau.
