Involvement Without Hands

Description

In this exercise, players work together to manipulate an object placed between them without using their hands. The objective is to show creative ways to move or interact with the object using their bodies.

Setup Requirements

A space large enough for movement, optional props (e.g., ropes, small objects).

Point of Concentration

Manipulate the object without using hands.

Side Coaching

  • Encourage spontaneous movements.
  • Remind players to focus on teamwork.
  • Suggest using different body parts to move the object.

Points of Observation

  • Are players demonstrating the object clearly?
  • How well are they collaborating without hands?
  • Is there a sense of resistance or struggle?

Evaluation

  • Did they effectively show how to manipulate the object?
  • Were creative solutions used?
  • How did they work together as a team?

Examples

Examples of actions include:
  • Pushing a car with shoulders.
  • Using a rope to raise a board.
  • Mountain climbing using body leverage.
