Description

The facilitator conducts the group like a symphony, using hand gestures to raise or lower the volume and intensity of different emotions expressed through sound and movement.

Setup Requirements

Open space, group can see conductor

Point of Concentration

Expressing emotion through vocal and physical intensity

Side Coaching

Commit fully! Let the emotion flow through your whole body. Respond immediately to changes in volume.

Points of Observation

Is the group responding as a unit? Are individuals committing fully? Can we distinguish different emotions?

Evaluation

Which emotions were hardest to express? How did volume changes affect your experience? What did you notice about group energy?

Examples

Joy, sadness, anger, fear - conduct them separately, then blend them together in different combinations.
