In this exercise, one player begins an activity on stage. Other players join in one at a time, each knowing their character's identity. The first player doesn't know who they are but must engage and accept each new character.
For example, a man might be hanging drapes when a woman enters and asserts her role as his wife, guiding how he should behave.

A stage or open space for players to enter and interact.

Side Coaching
Encourage players to fully embrace their characters.
Remind the first player to respond authentically to each new character.
Allow for spontaneity, even if the scene becomes chaotic.
Points of Observation
Look for signs of relationship development among characters.
Observe how players blend their character identities with the ongoing activity.
Evaluation
Did players effectively show or communicate their character relationships?
Did they stay focused on the main activity?
